Virkum ehf. emphasizes protecting personal data for visitors of virkum.is and users of our services. This policy describes what data we collect, why we collect it and how you can exercise your rights.

Data we collect

We collect information you provide directly — for example name, email, phone number and company name — when you contact us or book through our scheduling link. When you book via Calendly, information you submit is processed by Calendly as an independent service under Calendly's privacy policy and terms.

How we use data

Data is used only to respond to inquiries, deliver requested services and send requested materials. We never sell data to third parties.

Cookies, analytics and browser storage

We use Google Analytics 4 (Google) to understand how virkum.is is used. The GA4 script and related cookies are loaded only if you choose Accept in our cookie banner; if you choose Reject or do not accept, they are not loaded.

GA4 processes technical and usage data (such as page views, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser information and identifiers stored in cookies) to produce aggregated statistics. We do not use this GA4 integration for personalised advertising. Your analytics consent choice (accept or reject) and your selected site language are stored in your browser's local storage so we do not need to ask again on every visit. Ordinary outbound links may take you to third-party sites (for example Calendly when booking); those services apply their own privacy notices once you leave virkum.is.

Your rights
